Now with toby and Raimi out of the spiderman franchise the reboot of the character means trying to getting back to the begging and for the character of spiderman he has to look a lot younger and Sean in my opinion is the perfect look for the "back in highschool" teenager who must cope with the pressures of a social life and having powers. In cashback Sean showed how good he was in heartbreak and social interaction, just ad some super powers and the red costume a we could have a better spiderman than tobby was. Maybe I am getting to pretentious but that is my opinion and who I think could carry the franchise from the reboot on.

No. He couldn't. Why? Because they're probably going to spin the clock back and put Peter Parker in high school to match up with the timeline being created by all the other movies.

This franchise didn't even need a "reboot" anyway!

Well turning back the clock I think would be his advantage because he looks way younger than toby, and it is true that spiderman didn't need a reboot.

Yeaaah, well, anything's better than Raimi. I'm pretty sure he just went on a crack binge throughout Spiderman II and III. WTF was that Sam Raimi?! I don't slap my name on my vomit and sell it to helpless passerbys.

Sorry. I really hate when people treat franchises like Spiderman and Harry Potter like campy money factories. A lot of people think Spiderman and comic books in general are meant to be campy, but I say bs. But I seriously doubt Fox cares what actual comic book readers think.

I heard that the issue with Spiderman 3 was that Raimi only wanted to do Sandman but was pressured to slide in Venom and actually really hates the symbiotes. That would explain so much...

I just hope that whenever the new franchise comes about that 1) it's not a freaking origin film because WE'VE ALREADY SEEN THAT and I do not need to see Uncle Ben die again and 2) JOE QUESADA STAYS FAR FAR AWAY FROM IT SO WE CAN STILL HAVE PETER/MJ LIKE IT SHOULD BE.
