Sienna's latest film postponed after Hippie Hippie Shake-up in her lovelife
No wonder Sienna Miller’s PR team are in a panic. The star’s popularity has plummeted following her high-profile fling with married millionaire Balthazar Getty.
Now Hollywood sources say her professional career has also taken a serious blow. Under fire: Sienna Miller's popularity has plummeted since she was linked to Balthazar Getty. I revealed recently how studio bosses were having second thoughts about signing 26-year-old Sienna for the two sequels to her upcoming movie GI Joe: Rise Of Cobra.
Sienna Miller tries to distance herself from married lover... by walking a few feet away from him And now comes news that the release of her latest film, Hippie Hippie Shake, has been postponed until the storm around her private life subsides.
The movie, also starring Derek Jacobi and Max Minghella, was due for release by Working Title and Universal this year. But Universal is now insisting: ‘The film has always been slated for release in 2009.’ And a Hollywood insider revealed: ‘Hippie Hippie Shake has been delayed until next spring at the earliest. 'The original plan was definitely to release it this year – the date was in all the trade magazines. 'One of the main reasons for the delay is Sienna’s love life. 'The studios hope the coverage will have died down by the spring.’

What a load of crap. Why are celeb private lives / screw ups so publicized and frowned upon by studio execs? Have you ever worked in a TV/Film Studio? Or any other workplace for that matter? They reek of adulterers. In fact, I'm fairly certain I can go to our file room right now and run face first into infidelity. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying those people are perfectly capable of being successful in their careers even if they are screwing up their personal lives.
Besides, I thought this was the sort of crap that other people made up to sell movies/albums?
You may be in a shitty relationship with an emotionally unavailable asshat Sienna, but I'll still watch your movies. |

It turns out that the Feb 2010 release date is a 100-print release. The UK release date is now 21 May 2010.
Maybe Sean will attend a premire there and some UK Badgers can meet him and get the rest of us some pictures. |

I'm really behind. I've only seen Cillian Murphy in "The Wind That Shakes the Barley." |

Ohhh man. See him in his Danny Boyle stuff. "28 Days Later" and "Sunshine". Both, in my opinion, are genre-shaking.
I also have a huge fondness in my heart for Wes Craven's "Red Eye", with Rachel McAdams. While it wasn't terribly great, the chemistry between them was stellar and Cillian Murphy was super creepy as the bad guy.
He's also Scarecrow in the Nolan Batman films. Irish. Was going to be a lawyer, I believe. |

Does anyone know anything about this?
I’ve looked everywhere I can think of with no success. I thought it was released in the UK but all I can find are comments indicating an indefinite, uncertain hold on any release. |
